Once upon a time there was a man who lived in a town near a forest. Everyday a fox stole his hens. So he set up a trap and waited for the fox to be caught. But the fox could not be captured. After some time the fox was caught in the trap. But that day was the wedding day of the man's daughter. So nobody came to see the trap.

Suddenly a tiger came up and asked the fox why he was caught. The fox replied,"I have fallen into terrible trouble. That terrible man has caught me so that I may marry his daughter. I don't want to marry. I want to complete my studies".
The tiger told him ,"Why don't you allow me to take your place. I always wanted to marry her".

So he opened the trap and took the fox's place. The fox ran away.

After some time he saw some men approaching him with some long sticks. He thought that they must have come to take him to the marriage hall. But the people started beating him and killed him. The fox ran away safe and sound.
